Best camera for a photo-shoot

Okay any camera can do, I just need to know because i have to photo-shoot someone in about a week and my camera that i worked with is broke and i need a new camera because the one that broke doen't NOT sell anymore so yeah ANSWER this:

I have a Canon EOS 40D it works perfect i like the big ones cause if your taking fast shots i would consider it ^_^ oh..i forget i use LOLCAM :D
